The guys welcome special guest, and Patriots fanboy, John to join them for the NFL Midseason Awards Show.
Things get started with an all new segment…. BS Voicemail!! Questions are asked and answers are given…well, maybe not. If you’d like to get your question/comment/topic on the next SportsCast, drop us a line at 708-316-8822.
From there, the guys get into their version of the NFL’s Midseason Awards… including Comeback Player of the Year, MVP, and Biggest Douche! Within the awards, discussions are had once again why the NFL sucks and what happened in Week 9! Who do you think deserves an award at the half-way point?
The show wraps with this weeks Pick’em, in which the Guest picks have now passed PJ!

Halloween is here… which means the World Series is wrapping up. The guys discuss what has been an incredible 2017 World Series, especially Game 5, and what has been a great post season in general. They dive in to the Joe Girardi managerial departure and why everyone is moving towards these analytical managers.
The first College Football Ranking is out and there’s a big surprise at the Top. No seriously, it’s not Alabama. PJ educates TM (the D3er) on how the CFP rankings and committee work, then give him homework. Penn State sucks and deserve every bit of hatred spewed their way.
Finally, the guys recap what was the craziest NFL Trade Deadline in recent memory and shit all over Week 8, because it sucked. More discussion about what exactly is the problem with the NFL product this year, and whether its watchable.

It seems like way too much has happened in baseball since the last SportsCast, but the guys do their best to recap the ALCS, what went wrong for the Yankees, and whether Joe Girardi will return. A lot of managers have been let go and replaced in the last week… and oh, there’s also this little thing called the WORLD SERIES that started.
College football sucks. Or at least PJ’s team does.
Finally, we recap Week 7 in the NFL which started with possibly the best game of the year (Raiders – Chiefs), how Marshawn Lynch is a lunatic, and everything else that’s transpired over the last week. Including what might be the official end of the Jay Cutler meter. We also once again tackle the question of who’s the best team in the NFL?

The guys waste no time and jump right in to the discussing the Yankees performance(s) after being down 2-0 to the Astros. TM continues to try to convince everyone that the Yankees aren’t the same old Yankees… yeah, ok TM. Dodgers continue to roll and only so much can be discussed.
What’s going on with Friday night college football and top 10 teams struggling? What can anyone really say except “It’s college football”.
Finally, the Jets/Pats game and controversy is discussed. Has instant replay made the NFL better? Or is it a crutch for the ever growing problem of NFL officiating. A-A-ron goes down and the Packers are screwed. Who’s the best team outside of Kansas City?

Breaking News about the US Men’s National Soccer Team being eliminated from the 2018 World Cup drops right before the show. Soccer is discussed for 5 minutes. Next soccer talk… 4 years from now.
After a quick college football roundup where PJ bitches about his own alma mater (Michigan) and their inability to win against their rivals… the guys get into the MLB Post Season and the Divisional Series. How is the city of New York feeling about their chances? Will Girardi not challenging the hit batter in game 2 come and bite him in the ass? Justin Verlander as a reliever? It’s all covered!
NFL Week 5 came and went with a wimper. Countless injuries, teams not covering spreads, other teams not covering receivers. Where is the Jay Cutler meter with TM? Does anyone in the AFC East want to win the division? It’s all discussed in this weeks Around the League.
New Segment… 60 seconds of News with Booze… it’s a working title. shut up

What was supposed to be a quick MLB Post Season Preview show morphed into a full fledged SportsCast!
The guys record while watching the MLB Wild Card game and give their opinions on the current MLB Playoff format. Predictions on who and where these early series will go.
NFL Week 4 is in the books and what do we know? Nothing… absolutely nothing. Who’s good? Who’s bad? Well, the Dolphins… they’re bad. Are the Bills for real? The guys bring a special correspondent to analyze and critique the AFC East leaders. Antonio Brown shows he’s a true diva and is called out by Big Ben. Things wrap up with some fantasy talk before getting into the Week 5 picks.

Things get started with the breaking news (at the time of recording) that the FBI has charged 10 individuals in money funneling allegations. Is this a big surprise to anyone? The bigger surprise is that it dropped without anyone knowing. Should college players be paid like professionals? If so, how?
After some minor MLB discussion, the guys discuss their NFL gameday experiences at the MIAvsNYJ and ATLvsDET games before diving in to another crazy week of the NFL. Are the Lions the poster child for bad officiating in the NFL or is it just bad rules?
Who is for real thus far this season? Atlanta, who could very well be 1-2? NE, who was a 30 yard TD catch from also being 1-2? Or is there a 1-2 team that will make a push? The Jekyll and Hyde factor is even more prevalent this week. We wrap up with some fantasy talk before getting into the Week 5 picks.

Did you miss us? It’s only been a week, but the Binge SportsCast is back with a brand new episode. Where’s TM been and what kind of shenanigans has he been getting in to?
After some catching up, the boys jump right into it with a quick recap of the MLB over the last several weeks, ramping up for the playoffs. Who’s in and who’s got some work to do. Will the historic Cleveland Indians win streak be good for them in the long run and will Giancarlo Stanton get to 60 HRs? College football is discussed by PJ, while TM justifies his disinterest via Sounder! A quick recap of TM’s thoughts on the NFL season thus far, how he feels about his boy Jay Cutty, and which teams surprised him in that first week.
Around the League is a new segment with another new Sounder! Week 2 of the NFL was a much better watch, yet there was still some brutal play by a handful of teams. Are the Lions legit, or do the Giants just suck that much ass? We give our predictions and picks for week 3 and maybe, just maybe, another sounder pops up. Keep an eye out on twitter this weekend… TM and PJ will be sharing some Tailgate and Gametime tweets from our respective teams!

Check out our boy Jay Cutler and his Hail Mary attempt… it’s glorious
Welcome to Week 2 of the Binge Sports Pick ‘Em Contest. The first week of the NFL season brought some interesting games and a few surprises, but it’s nice to be watching some football that means something. Thirteen others were man enough to join me for the inaugural contest, but let’s remember that this is a season-long contest, so there’s still time to join. As a reminder, participants aren’t required to play every week, but points will start to add up. And if you look at the standings after Week 1, there’s already a few people on the negative side of things, so you’ve already got an advantage. And for those who’ve already entered and might be upset by that, just make better picks. A quick summary of the rules for those just joining us: you must pick a winner in EVERY game, picks MUST be entered into the comments section at the bottom of this page, and if you get a pick wrong, your point total will be docked, hence the negative point totals you’ll see below. The number beside the game is the amount of points that game is worth, so choose wisely. Let’s take a look at the standings after Week 1. Yes, that’s Jack at the top; God help us.
