Location, Location, Location!: Bars
LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION!
BARS
By Steve Wood
Here we have three scenes from three different movies, all taking place in a bar, ranging from the downright unrealistic, to the tension so thick you can cut it with a knife, and each entertaining in their own way.
Desperado
First up we have Desperado, which is my favorite on this list. The over the top violence, the hero can hit anything but bad guys can’t aim shtick, and the coolness factor is all here in full force. While El Mariachi wants no part in the fight, he is forced to defend himself against a small army of unnamed thugs.
Road House
Next up – Road House, I really shouldn’t even say anything else here, because we’ve all seen this…so, I won’t!
Inglorious Basterds
Inglorious Basterds: A movie with Nazi’s and black humor, truly one of a kind, and with the epic dialogue master calling the shots, little can go wrong. What starts off as an already uncomfortable conversation, things escalate quickly and violently.
Next week: Bathrooms: dropping a deuce will never be the same.
