This week we’re talking about the 1987 Brian De Palma film The Untouchables:
TM and Jack hold down the fort while Alyx plays with some Canadian Bacon in Michigan. The guys discuss film history in The Untouchables, Lawlapalooza locations in the film and how great Sean Connery is.
All this and more, so download now!
Be sure to tune in next time as we watch a film from 1994…to be announced soon!
This weekend, Law and I talked to some Lawlapalooza 2018 attendees. Today, we have the live BingeCast recorded at Moe’s Tavern in Chicago. For those that didn’t attend, I hope the show gives you a sense of what it was like to be there and hypes you up enough to get your ass to Chicago. For those that did attend, I hope this encourages you to come back next year.
Thanks to PJ, Kupka, Jack Valley, The Binge Wives, The Winstons for making sure the production ran smoothly. Thanks to Ammon for his years of services. Thanks to all the listeners who were able to attend!
See ya in 2019!

There’s also some Google Voice that we haven’t got to in three weeks, a bunch of new sounders, and the interview with our Uber driver about whores.

We at Binge Media would like to thank Maureen “Moe” Clancy for housing a ton of crazy cocksuckers in her wonderful tavern two years in a row. All the best to her family and friends during this time. May she Rest In Peace.
Wow. What an unbelievable Lawlapalooza 2017. There are almost too many memories to share over the course of the last week. Thankfully, the live BingeCast we recorded went great and that’s mostly thanks to those that showed up in the audience. We really can’t thank you guys enough for participating in this yearly event, something we’ve always wanted to and something that we’ll continue to do if the interest is still there.
As for the live show itself, what an incredible experience to be able to host the BingeCast in front of an audience who really “gets it”. I can only imagine what the other bar patrons thought when they walked in and heard “cocksucker” being yelled out. They got pizza, so they can shut their faces right now.
We talk about the best and worst in TV and film so far this year, a live Q&A, the Garrett Collins game is played and we also cast the Binge Media movie!
Again, thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
YOUR hearts.
Good one.
0:00:00-Lawlapalooza 2017! Prerecorded live in Illinois. Johnny Cakes introduces The Kicks (PeteMC and TM) who play a glorious intro Sounder.
0:02:07-Law and Moreno take the stage. Will the name Moreno last? Will Alyx take over? Do you give a shit? Anyway, there will be a live vote which isn’t live anymore. Games, prizes, cocksucking…what wait? Thanks are due. Who’s in the crowd? Ladies are there. Not just a sausage fest. #wherethefuckisammon. Something special in the works. You probably already saw it. 7 years of Lawlapalooza. First giveaway of the night.
0:11:35-TV ROUND UP. Same name pulling. Just like a real show, off tangent. Favorite show of the year. What shows should Law and Moreno watch? Who’s the real Eddie from Cali? Live Garrett Collins game will happen in this very show. What are the girls watching? House of Cards. Keepers? Meh? Big Brother UK?More like Big Brother (FR)UK, #amiriteguys?Make it happen, Nate P! How is Moreno going to watch this season of Game of Thrones?
0:29:10-Live Pee Break Sounder.
0:31:45-LIVE GOOGLE VOICE. People at the actual show ask stupid questions and get stupid answers. Or something.
0:45:19-WHAT DID YOU WATCH? Presentation of the BMFML 2016 Champion Plaque to a one Chad Christopher. Worst movie of the year? Law and Moreno discuss, then open it up to the floor. Live GC game!! Time to play “Cast the Binge Media Staff Member.”

And that’s it, cocksuckers. See you at the next Lawlapalooza.
Lawlapalooza is right around the goddamn corner! A lot of people have been asking us where they should stay, what to do in the city, etc., so we put together this little guide that hopefully should be of some help. This year is going to be a BIGLY event, and there’s a lot of things we’re coordinating, so we hope this guide can answer most of your questions. If it doesn’t answer any of your questions and you still have more, send us an email at adminATbingemediaDOTnet and we’ll do our best to answer them.
The Days of the Dead Fest has been in existence for quite awhile in Chicago, Louisville, L.A., Atlanta, and Indianapolis. It’s happening in Chicago/Schaumburg November 18-20, 2016. I attended the three day festival a few years ago while a part of that other site, but only took part in one day. I had my then 12 year old daughter with me and being that she was (and is) a horror film fan, she got a kick out of the costumes, vendors and general atmosphere. But I didn’t get to have the full DOTD experience. I have a few friends who have attended as spectators and vendors and rave about the fest as well as the epic after parties. Being that I’ll be kidless at this year’s festival (well almost, Kupka will be with me), I can’t wait to take in all the glory (and whiskey).
I’ve always had my eye on the talent at the festival, and their guest appearances have always been on point and pleasing to a pedestrian horror fan such as myself as well as the battle hardened horror veteran. But they threw in a few biggies this year. Alice Cooper and Ric Flair in the same building? I’m game!
Also appearing will be:
Michael Parks
Judge Reinhold
Kristy Swanson
Anthony Michael Hall and Iian Mitchell Smith (Weird Science reunion!)
Jon Heder
Kane Hodder
Musicians Brian “Head” Welch (Korn), Dave Ellefson (Megadeath), Charlie Benante (Anthrax)
Outside of the appearances and the aforementioned vendors selling their gear, there are also a few contests including:
That Damn Tattoo Contest
Chaostume Contest
And a FX Makeup Challenge
I am not as much of a horror fan as I am attracted to the weird and odd of all things living and dead, so I’m definitely looking forward to taking the scene and meeting up with old friends and making new ones.
The 48 Hour Independent Film Festival is also a thing, so Kupka and I plan to catch a few of those flicks as well. Look for a couple of reviews on BingeMedia.net for whatever we happen to catch.
Holy hell…… in case you weren’t around last night on FaceBook, a bunch of assholes (Moreno, Kupka, Law, Pete MC, and The Professor Rob) recorded a live BingeCast. Below is the result of us managing to press record at some point and document it for all to hear. Within we discuss STAR TREK: BEYOND, Stranger Things, LIGHTS OUT, Roadies, all the Comic Con trailers, Preacher, and a million other things that make my head hurt trying to remember.
I do know at one point we fight about Kubrick vs. Spielberg vs. Fincher and the fact that Moreno leaves for two hours. Dude can’t even record a whole show when we do it at his house.
Google Voice is played, there are live sounders for the first time ever, and Kupka stays awake for the whole night.
That’s all I got. I’m hung over as shit. Other stuff blah blah blah.
Welcome, welcome, welcome. Listen to what I gots to tell you!
St. Paul & The Broken Bones
OH MY LORD I HAVE BEEN REBORN!! Again. Sweet baby Jesus people, I know you don’t like it when people repeat themselves but sometimes things need repeating. I don’t care if you’re white, black, brown, yellow, red, green, purple, or blue. If you in ANY way, shape, or form, enjoy music, whether it’s rock, rap, blues, country, western, techno, trance, house, or any other genre and sub genre and sub sub genre, you have got to appreciate Soul Music.
Now ladies and gentleman when you think Soul Music I bet you don’t think a few white boys from Alabama do you? I didn’t think so. During a (Pre?)Lollapalooza after show at Tahlia Hall in Chicago, St. Paul and the Broken Bones put on another unbelievable performance that very few artists can and/or do. These guys bleed Soul and they leave it all on stage, each and every night.
These guys have been on tour for almost 2 years now in support of their debut album and have managed to keep the show very fresh. I was lucky enough to catch them 3 times during that stretch and have been surprised each and every time. This performance they did a cover of I Want You (She’s So Heavy) that was just out of this world. I believe they will be taking some time off to get in the studio and record/recover in the near future but please, I IMPLORE YOU, the next time they come to your town, do whatever you can to see them. You will not be disappointed.
DDP Yoga
Yes, that DDP. Although referred to throughout as YRG (possibly standing for Yoga for Regular Guys) DDP Yoga is a fitness regiment that focuses on isometrics and strength training through various exercises referred to as the Diamond Dozen as instructed by Mr. Diamond Dallas Page himself. Yes, we all wish Kimberly was helping him, she’s not, let’s move on.
I was actually turned on to the workout by fellow site contributor and a co-host to the Binge GameCast, Batch. I was always interested in the workout since I heard he put out this set and when Batch told me that it was pretty legit, I got myself a copy and got to it.
I’ve been doing the workout for the better part of 3 months now (max 3 times a week with 2 weeks off) and have achieved results and have not grown tired of it. I also have only gotten through the first 4 videos (2 of which were instructional and the other two being Energy and Fat Burner), but that has to do more with really wanting to learn the workout rather than following the recommended schedule or laziness. This is something that seems to be stressed, making the workout yours, once you understand how the exercises work the areas of your body it makes total sense.
The best part of this set of 11 workouts is only 2 are over an hour, the rest are between 20-35 minutes. Leaving pretty much no excuse to not squeeze a workout in at least twice a week, another reason I enjoy this particular program. If you’re looking for a workout regiment that will help you tone up, build strength, and burn fat but you’re short on time this may be a good one for you.
I want to get back to Los Santos so that’ll do it for this week. Don’t forget to leave any comments below and follow me on Twitter @jekupka. Until next time, I leave you with this.
Welcome to the start of another busy week here at Binge Media. We start things out this week with another episode of the newest addition to the podcast family, the Binge Sportscast.
Thanks to all those who downloaded and listened to the premiere episode this past Wednesday. We do now have a plan to run this show bi-weekly, basically alternating with the Gamecast. But there’s also a plan to run this type of show, the wrestling version, every Sunday that WWE has a pay-per-view. So at least now you know when to catch up with us for the Sportscast.
As far as this episode is concerned, Batch and I get into all things wrestling. Batch talks the indy circuit and really gets into the Ring of Honor show heading to Toronto in a few weeks. We talk a little Global Force and TNA as well.
From there, we talk a little bit about the awesome documentary on The Iron Sheik, and then we get into a full breakdown of what we thought of Wrestlemania. To close, we fill you in on the matches for Extreme Rules and our thoughts on those as well.
The show ran a little longer than we expected, but hey, it was worth it. It’s wrestling, so of course it’s going to be drawn out and over the top. Deal with it.
I talked about this at the start of the podcast, but stay tuned later this week for the written word of Binge Sports, where I’ll get into the Kentucky Derby and really get into my thoughts on Mayweather vs Pacquiao. Catch up with us @BingeSports. Catch up with me @THElukenorris. And catch up with Batch @multiversefive. Enjoy.
