Literally literature recommendations:
Not quite as good as the GOT books, but there’s a nice little fantasy series you guys should check out by author Joe Abercrombie called “The First Law Trilogy”. Books are pretty bad ass, and they really amp up the medieval sex/violence aspects that Thrones does so well.
Also, after hearing about the disapointment with “The Fireman”, i gotta throw a book out at you called “Swan Song” by Robert Mccammon. It fucking nails the whole end of the world plague scenario to perfection. Think “The Stand”, but better.
