BingeCast: The Witch, Deadpool, Better Call Saul and Scorsese Films
0:00:00-It’s time, cocksuckers.
0:01:37-Everybody’s fucking here. Moreno. Valley. Collins. Norris (Not Chuck). Law is absent for two weeks. Dildo demand is no joke.
0:15:30-GOOGLE VOICE.
0:60:10-TV ROUND UP. Walking Dead’s return gets (somewhat) highlight. Vinyl gets discussed a lil’ bit. Luke talks about 11.22.63. Garrett chimes in with Twin Peaks. People vs. OJ Simpson is dissected. Better Call Saul is up next. Moreno brings up Horace and Pete. Gilmore Girls? Sure, why not.
1:25:00-WHAT DID YOU WATCH? Collins begins with Deadpool, then fifes all over The Witch. Everybody talks about Scorsese/DiCaprio flicks, and then just plain ol’ Scorsese flicks. Moreno revisits Gone Baby Gone.
3:28:37-Surprise call from TM and his lady! Pete MC gets a word in too. God, this show is fucking bubbling over with characters.
4:15:03-MOVIE HOMEWORK: The Town. Listen to this segment and then please peace the fuck out.

I can’t fucking stand James Franco. He’s decent enough when he’s serious, like in True Story, but his indie stuff and comedic stuff isn’t very funny what so ever.

There’s one aspect of Deadpool that Garett should appreciate, based on some comments during the Terminator retrospective: it is a closed story.
Deadpool is out to kill one guy, that guy gets killed, there’s no loose ends. The x-men invitation is a joke; he’s not out for justice against the rest of the organization behind the mutant factory (I’d presume one of the technicians wouldn’t actually be running the place); there was no setup for the second movie at all.
And we know (which could be a joke) that the time-traveler Cable will show up, which again, nothing to do at all with the current plot; it might connect with the rest of the X-franchise time traveling shit fest, but this particular movie didn’t.
I liked that.
