Flashback Friday – Bloodhound Gang
When The Music Hits Presents:
Flashback Friday
Another Friday morning, but this time I’m stone (not stoned) sober. Making my final preparations before I depart for a destination wedding in New Jersey I decided to take a few moments to bring you another classic album and for some odd reason it just happens to be another one from 1995. I don’t know what it is with that year, maybe it was just a real good one. This week’s installment is the debut album Use Your Fingers by Bloodhound Gang. Probably most famous for their later singles “Fire, Water, Burn” and “The Bad Touch”, this was the album that started it all. The word play these guys bring is some of the best and they also have some of the best innuendos ever. This album also has some pretty killer covers of “Kids In America” and “K.I.D.S. Incorporated”. Seriously they’re fucking awesome. Well enough reading about it, go listen, and enjoy your weekend.
