(Working On A Title) Wednesday -Hockey, Hockey, Hockey, Marvel, Marvel, Marvel
As you can see by today’s “title”, I’ve got only 2 things on my mind. Hockey and Marvel. Now I’ll tell you why.
We Have A Champion!
If you haven’t heard by now, Eric Charbonneau has been crowned the Champion in the inaugural BingeMedia.net Fantasy Hockey League. Good for him.

Agent Carter
Only about 8 weeks late I finally got to sit down and take in the Agent Carter miniseries that ran earlier this year on ABC during the “Holiday Break” for television. Agent Carter picks up shortly after Captain America “dies” and since the war is also now over she is pushed back to a more “secretary” role for the SSR. However, she is also the only person Howard Stark trusts and he enlists her to help him clear his name after his toys start showing up on the street and causing very bad things to happen. Overall I thought the season was pretty great, 8 episodes was a perfect length, nothing felt rushed or unfinished, all the performances were pretty solid and they even had a few nice guest spots. Marvel could use this type of format for some pretty cool things, fun side stories, character origins/introductions, or even Prologues/Epilogues for their motion pictures. Whether Agent Carter sticks around for a few seasons remains to be seen, but if not at least we were given something fun while it lasted.
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Once I caught up with Agent Carter I was finally able to catch up with Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and in case you haven’t heard my opinion on this show yet, I fucking love it. Things are getting pretty twisty turny and I love it, it has it’s silly network show moments and I love it, it also has Gregg Clark who I continue to absolutely love as Agent Coulson. If you’re into the Marvel Cinemaverse and want even more this will not disappoint.
Daredevil
WOW!!! That is my thought of Daredevil after checking out the first 4 episodes. I know the basics about the Man Without Fear but I’m nowhere near a fanboy of his. If the show keeps going the way it is, however, I may become one. A PERFECTLY casted show that balances back story and now story better than anything I can currently think of, especially when it comes to comic book television shows, it looks amazing and has had some pretty kickass fight scenes. It also has me thinking, Punisher? Add a touch more dirt, grime, and vulgarity and you nail a character that 3 movies haven’t been able to get right. I’m not gonna hold my breath just yet but I will keep hope alive. If you like good acting, great cinematography and a slow roll in story telling and character development I think you will dig this show.
Alright that’s it, I got hockey to watch. Don’t forget to leave any comments below and follow me on Twitter @jekupka. Until next time, I leave you with this.
