TV Caps of the Week – Nov 1
I watch a lot of television at work. A lot. Every so often there’s a moment in one of the random shows I’m watching that needs to be praised. Then I get home, drink, and forget anything and everything that I did the night before. All potential Facebook/Twitter posts are drowned. All interesting BingeCast conversations are lost. So, instead of quitting the booze I’ve decided to instantly screencap some of my favorite moments throughout the week of television and post them here so everybody can enjoy them as I much as I did. And we can all continue drinking. Did I mention that?
BEWARE SPOILERS!!
Meet Tyreese – THE WALKING DEAD
Tyreese has been pretty level-headed up until now on The Walking Dead. Fans of the comic know there is something waiting to get out. This is the moment from the pages (in a roundabout way) that made Tyreese A LOT of fans in the WD universe. Getting his ass handed to him by Rick early in the episode didn’t help his street-cred too much but everybody forgot about it by the time this came around. Anybody else think about the end of (the original) DAWN OF THE DEAD too?
Awkward Conversation – TALKING DEAD
Speaking of The Walking Dead, Marilyn Manson in an idiot. Dude did himself no favors by appearing on The Talking Dead this week and constantly bringing up shitty theories and ridiculous comparisons (Hitler?) throughout the entire show. Chris Hardwick had a field day mocking him and his puffy drug face.
How Canadians Make Love – SOUTH PARK
South Park can seriously do nothing wrong so far this season. In the midst of another masterpiece we get to see the legendary mating ritual of Canadians. First you fart on her strange and then she queefs in your face. For the record, I am Canadian, have three kids, and these are the exact directions I followed for all of them.
Busters, Let’s Get Busting – THE GOLDBERGS
For a cheesy network sitcom, The Goldbergs has done more right than wrong for me so far. The constant 80s references are starting to wear thin though and I only give the blatant use of nostalgia in this episode a pass because of it being a Halloween themed effort. Everybody wins with Halloween episodes.
Smell My Butt – BRICKLEBERRY
I’m a firm believer that Daniel Tosh is the worst thing about Brickleberry but there was something special in their latest Homeland-themed episode that kept me laughing throughout. It was this moose’s asshole. It had that Ren & Stimpy feel to it that makes you cringe, giggle, and dares you to look away. You don’t.
